Getting Your Laundry Organized

Tip #44:  Get Your Laundry Organized.  To be more organized and prevent laundry from living all over the house, put a load in the washer as soon as you have one to do. Letting it build makes it much more difficult to get it done. Put it in the dryer immediately if you are home. If you dont let it sit in the dryer too long there will be very little wrinkling. Have a laundry table or work space next to the dryer so you can fold and sort each family members clothing into their own pile. Have multi colored tuff totes under the table so each family member has their own color basket for their laundry. Or, have one basket for kids, one for adults and one for ironing. If you play your cards right you can get them to put away their own clothes and you will only have to iron.
